A Church That Encounters Jesus

Christians don’t ultimately follow a book. We follow a person. But we trust the book because it is the Spirit-given witness that reveals that person.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God and the foundation for all we believe and how we live. It guides our worship, shapes our values, and equips us to follow Jesus faithfully each day.

We believe in one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all that is, the source of life, and the one who reveals Himself fully through Jesus Christ.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. Through His life, death on the cross, and resurrection, Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled with God. Salvation comes through trusting Him as Lord and Savior.

We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guiding, comforting, and empowering us to live out our faith. The Spirit helps us understand God’s Word, grow in Christlikeness, and share God’s love with others.

We practice water baptism as a public declaration of faith. Following the example of Jesus and the early church, baptism is how we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and say to God and our community: I'm all in.

God created people in His image, male and female. Through Adam’s rebellion, sin entered the world and affected all of humanity.

We believe all people have rebelled against their creator and need Jesus to restore that relationship. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through placing your trust in Jesus Christ — not by earning it but through His life, death, and resurrection on our behalf. And it begins now — those who trust in Jesus are welcomed into the kingdom of God today, walking in new life as citizens of a kingdom that is both present and still coming.

We believe the Church is more than a building — it’s a community of people united in Christ. As the body of Christ, we worship together, encourage one another, serve our community, and make disciples who love God and love people.

We believe following Jesus means living out His love every day: worshiping God passionately, serving others sacrificially, and sharing the good news of Jesus with our community and world.

We believe Jesus will return again to make all things new. Those who trust in Him have the promise of eternal life with God. This hope gives us confidence today and motivates us to live faithfully, love deeply, and serve boldly until He comes.

Following Jesus’ example, we gather around the communion table to remember and proclaim Jesus' sacrifice. In sharing the bread and the cup, we look back in gratitude, inward in reflection, and forward in hope — re-centering ourselves on the gospel and on one another.
